About this course

Hospitality lives or dies on service, and good service is a set of learnable behaviours rather than a personality type. This certificate covers what those behaviours are, how teams deliver them consistently, and the legislation and professional standards that sit underneath.

It suits people already working in hospitality who want a recognised qualification, and people looking to move into the sector.

Open to learners aged 16 and over. There are no formal entry requirements.

What good service looks like, and how to deliver it consistently.

Understand effective teamwork in the hospitality sector

How hospitality teams work, and your part in that.

Understand legislation and guidance relevant to the hospitality sector

Licensing, food safety, health and safety and the rest of the framework.

Understand professional personal standards in the hospitality sector

Presentation, conduct and professionalism in a customer facing role.
