How it works

An employer led programme combines regulated qualifications with the practical checks, short courses and work placements that make someone ready to do the job.

You tell us what you need

The roles, the numbers, the timescale, and what your staff can and cannot do at the moment.

We build the programme

We combine the right qualifications with the additional training and checks your sector requires, and set out what it costs and how long it takes.

We deliver it around your operation

On your site, at one of our colleges, or a mix of both. We work around shift patterns and term times.

What it costs you

Most of the cost is met by adult skills funding. There may be a contribution of around 10 per cent of the qualification cost from you as the employer, which we work out with you when you apply. Learners who complete the programme get an interview with you at the end of it.

Programmes we are running in 2026/27

These are the employer led programmes already in place. We can build something different if none of these is the right fit.
